We have a packed schedule for the conference, between plenaries, symposia, regular sessions, field trips, workshops and side meetings. We are also happy to offer a number of activities throughout the week.

Come register for the conference and meet your hosts and friends, both new and old! There will be snacks, drinks and a cash bar.

  • Shorebirds of the Pacific Flyway: A Photographic Exhibition on Conservation Initiatives from Mexico to Chile

Evening of Sunday, August 11, during the Opening Reception

Purdy Crawford Centre for the Arts

Over the past six years, the Coastal Solutions Program at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology has implemented 30 high-impact projects along the Pacific Flyway of Latin America. This has been achieved through 30 leading conservation fellows working in nine Latin American countries, who have built a multidisciplinary collaboration network to design and implement solutions addressing current coastal challenges.

Through these photographs, we open a window to showcase the diversity of Latin American coastal landscapes, the beauty of shorebirds in their natural habitats, and the efforts of those working in the field, researching, and collaborating with local communities to safeguard these ecosystems. We invite you to view and learn more about the work of the Coastal Solutions Fellows on a visual journey from Mexico to Chile.
